Christmas morning

Santa was very good to these little boys....of course, because they are SO SWEET! They had sweet little Christmas pjs and their little hat that Nana gave them! It was a big morning and as you can see in the picture of them together..it just WORE them out..but it was VERY exciting for mommy and daddy!

Here are my two little men Christmas Eve....they look so handsome! I can not believe how much they have grown and how much they are changing every day! Their little personalities are really starting to come out!

Happy Babies

Once again, I have fallen behind and have been gently reminded...so I am going to put several new posts on today. I hope everyone had a wonderful and blessed Christmas. I can tell you that this was by far the BEST Christmas ever...one I never imagined would happen. The boys made everything so much sweeter! Here are two pictures of my little angels smiling. sleeping pictures...of course

You KNOW there had to be some sleeping pictures posted...ha ha! Sorry about that picture in the stroller, I rotated the picture but for some reason it did not save...so sorry you have to look sideways! Sometimes when the boys get really fussy, I put them in the recliner with me and then once they fall asleep, I sneak out 8-) Anyway, this is a cute little shot I got of them once I got up! They look so precious...of course! 8-) OK, so 3 new pictures in one day....that should suffice for a day or two...unless I get something really cute, which I KNOW I will with these two boys! First trip in the stroller

Last week I decided to get the boys out for their first little stroll around the neighborhood. It was so warm outside and I figured they would really enjoy it. The pictures are from when we got back from our walk and as you can see, it put Cayden straight to sleep and little Brennon just looked around and was checking everything out....they loved being in the stroller. I can't wait until it is warm and I can take them out more often. I am having so much fun with these little angels!

Shorter Royalty 8-)

Ok, well I am posting some new pictures...I have had numerous complaints that I have not been updating enough. The boys are staying awake more and require more attention so I have been slacking...sorry! My sweet husband fixed it where I can work on the blog downstairs now...so it will be much easier for me! Here are two cute pictures of my little princes....I bought this shirt for them right after I found out it was two boys! I can't believe they are big enough to fill it out already! They are changing so much and developing their sweet little personalities! Well, not always sweet...ha ha!

Tummy Time

Here are some pictures from last Wednesday of them playing on their Baby Einstien gym....attempting at "tummy time". They are so amused by all the toys hanging. I having been trying to post this since Thursday evening but could not do it b/c my emotions would overtake me each time I started typing. We had to take the boys to get their first Synagis shot (to help prevent RSV) and when the nurse gave them the shot my heart truly broke. When I heard my boys cry like that and knew they were in pain and there was nothing I could do about it....I was truly taken over by my emotions. I never imagined how much I could hurt for someone else...I finally get those words my mom always said "If I could bear the pain for you, I would...if I could carry it all for you, I would"....I GET IT now! If I could have endured that for them, in a second I would have! I am amazed each day how much my love grows for them....it is indescribeable until you experience it.

There is nothing special about these pictures other than my boys are the cutest thing ever..ha ha! Cayden is so cute holding on to his pacifier! Even when he was in the NICU he would grab on and hold on to anything..he would even hold on to the CPAP tube...they had to tape it down several times from him holding it and pulling it! I think they look so cute in these little outfits! There are pictures on here of them in these same outfits but they have grown so much...they actually fill out their clothes now! They are growing so fast! It is amazing how quick the time goes by!

Cayden's first smile

Sweet little Cayden smiled for the first time this past Sunday! Brent was talking to him and he smiled several times....Brent got a picture of him smiling as he was drifting off to sleep! There is not a sweeter sight...other than when Brennon smiled for the first time!

All Smiles

I thought you would like to see my boys with their eyes open for a change! Here are two pictures of them all bright eyed. Also, yesterday was a big day here, Brennon smiled for the first time. It was the sweetest thing, I just melted. I was talking to him and he looked up at me and smiled the sweetest smile I have ever seen...I wanted to make sure it wasn't just gas so I went back a few minutes later and started talking to him and he smiled again! That boy has no idea the power that was in that smile! I tried my best to get a picture of it...but no luck!

Ok, so you all know that I am obsessed with watching these angels sleep, so here are two sweet little pictures of them sacked out! I don't know what I will do with my time once they start staying awake more...ha ha!!!!

First Turkey Day

Here are some pictures from our First Thanksgiving with our sons! We have so much to be thankful for this year! It is truly overwhelming for me to look at all of our blessings! Since we have to stay in with the boys through the spring, we had a nice, lazy day around the house and it gave me a good opportunity to dress them up in their cute little clothes....such handsome little men! I pray everyone's Thanksgiving was as blessed as ours..we are blessed beyond measure!

Snuggling

Going to the doctor

We went to the doctor today and Cayden weighed 8.4 and Brennon weighed 7.12. They are getting so big. I got them dressed to go and went to get their bag and when I came back this is how they were laying....SO SWEET!!!!! I LOVE these two pictures!

Snoozing

Well, I can not believe it....my boys turned one month old yesterday! It blows my mind how fast time goes by. Here are two cute pictures of them snoozing together! I LOVE to watch them sleep....I guess that is why I do not get anything done..ha ha!

I love this picture of the boys! I was laying down with them this morning and laid them by each other and thought this was the sweetest thing I had ever seen! I just sit at times and watch them sleep......still in complete amazement that they are here!

Boys Swinging

Here are a few pictures of my sweet boys swinging....they love their swings! Brennon noticed today that there were stars hanging from the mobile on his swing and he just sat watching it. It was so cute to see him discovering new things(he obviously wasn't discovering anything when I took this picture)! It is amazing to see how much they change and how quickly they change. It is so hard for me to believe they have been here almost a month! Brennon is wearing the striped outfit...the one that is WAY too big!

I just went in to check on my sweet babies and they were sleeping and I could not resist taking a picture of them because they looked so peaceful! They really look like little angels laying there! There is not a sweeter sight! Brennon is the one with one hand under his chin and the other over his head!

GO DAWGS!!!!!!!!

The boys got all dressed up in their MSU outfits in celebration of the big victory over Alabama! No doubt they are the cutest bulldogs around! Cayden is wearing the blue jeans and Brennon is wearing the khakis!!!! How funny is the picture to the left....like Cayden is knocking Brennon out!

Big boy outfits

This is their big boy outfits! Brent and I bought these outfits for them the day we found out it was two boys! Time flew by, seems like just yesterday I found out I was pregnant! I can only imagine how fast it will go by as these boys start to grow up! We will savor each moment! As I am typing this, I can hear them on the monitors and I am overwhelmed with emotion. I have never known a love like this. I feel as though my life truly started on October 23rd. My life is fully complete now! God's grace is so clear and evident through my marriage and now my two perfect children!
