2nd Birthday Party

HOW can it have been 2 years already???? My life has changed so much over the last two years and every day I wake up to my two sweet miracles, I KNOW beyond a shadow of a doubt it is better than the day before. I sit at times in total amazement that my heart can hold all the love I have for them and yet I love them more every day I have with them. This birthday was so much fun...they are really becoming little men. They were so excited about everything and really into all the presents and the decorations. I think Brent and I had as much fun as the boys did.

Trick or Treat

We had such a great time trick or treating tonight. The only thing missing was daddy. The boys were so excited and could NOT wait to ring the doorbells. Brennon wanted to go in each house...every time someone would answer the door, he would just right on in. It was SO MUCH fun to watch! They had a blast and so did I

The boys first pony ride

We went to the boys friend Lucy's 2 year old party Saturday at the Ag Museum...they had a blast and it was such a great party. They got to ride a pony and see all the animals, which they loved.

I'm back

So it has been a LONG time....sorry!!! We have had a lot going on....first being our new addition

We are so thrilled about this little miracle that will be joining us next May.

Cayden got his first big boy hair cut today. He did GREAT!!! Of course the sucker helped. I was so proud of my little man! He took the sucker down quicker than she could cut his hair..haha!

You have heard the saying "when they're crabby, put them in water" nothing rings truer for my kids...especially Brennon, the child LOVES the water & the waterhose. Entertains him for hours.

All Played out

I went to in to check on the boys tonight and this is how I found them...

So precious...just laid all over each other.........

it appears they were reading books to each other..haha! Once I lifted them to put them in bed, I found about 6 books under them.

Big Boy beds

This is how it started...I laid the boys down in their beds for their afternoon nap......and THIS is how I found them when I walked in!!! YES, they BOTH learned to get in and out the baby bed. So I thought I would leave them and surely they would just wear out....

but nope, this is how I found the room after listening to the destruction for over and hour..........

and even more damage............

So Brent and I spent the afternoon transitioning their beds into toddler beds. We did our normal night time routine and after an hour and a half, this is how we found the sweet angels. This is seriously one of the sweetest things I have ever seen......we just sat and stared at them

VERY BIG day

Today was a VERY big day for Brennon...well for that matter, me too! Brennon got his first haircut today! He was SUCH a big boy and did great! I on the other hand, well, we won't even go there..haha! I did fine until it was over and I looked at him all grown looking and that was it for me....I lost it!!! I could not believe how old my babies were getting and this was one of the first big milestones for them! I never dreamed these little things would have SO MUCH power over me. I have never known more, pride, fear, sadness, happiness and joy all at one time..all over a haircut! 8-) Even more than yesterday, or the day before or more than 19 months ago, I love and adore EVERY thing about being a mom.

Our little visitor

We had a little friend wander up last week...well, poor thing....he was wandering up I am sure- but Tito seemed to think he was some kind of new ball. So after he had been tormented for who knows how long, I rescued him and put him in a box for the boys to see the next morning....they were so cute-Brennon enjoyed it much more than Cayden but still they both were so excited when they first saw him.
